Privacy Policy — Easy Balanced Eating

This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile software application Easy Balanced Eating created by H5lab games.

1. Purpose of this policy

This policy describes how information is processed in the «Easy Balanced Eating» application (the «App») in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 («GDPR») and applicable data protection laws in your country, as well as equivalent principles where you are outside the European Economic Area, to the extent applicable.

2. Data controller

The controller of personal data relating to the App’s operation as described is H5lab games. To exercise your rights or ask privacy questions, you may email h5labgames@gmail.com, or use the contact or developer page shown on the app’s listing on the distribution store (e.g. Google Play or App Store), when available.

3. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

No Data Protection Officer has been appointed unless required by applicable law for H5lab games.

4. What data do we process?

In the current version, the App is designed to store information primarily on your device (local storage). This may include:

• 4.1. Food logging data: foods or categories you enter, portions, dates and statistics derived from your logs.
• 4.2. Settings and preferences: language, display mode (light/dark), custom categories, goals, colours and similar options.
• 4.3. Local technical identifiers: the App may use platform storage (e.g. SharedPreferences or equivalent) to remember preferences; this does not by itself create an account on H5lab games’ servers in the version described.
• 4.4. No account, name, email or phone number is required for the core functionality described in the current version of the App.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App may display advertisements using Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited, as applicable). Google may collect and process data such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic data to show and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve its services. This processing is governed by Google’s policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and, where relevant, information about how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Depending on your device and region, you may limit ad personalisation in your system settings (e.g. “Ads” or “Advertising” settings on Android, or “Tracking” / App Tracking Transparency on iOS).

6. Purposes and legal bases

• Enable logging, statistics and goals in the App: performance of a contract or steps prior to contract at your request (use of the App).
• Remember preferences (language, appearance, local data): performance of the contract or legitimate interests in operating the App; consent where required.
• Serve non-personalised or personalised ads via AdMob: consent or legitimate interests as applicable under local law and platform requirements.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations: legal obligation.
• Respond to rights requests: legal obligation.

7. Retention

Data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the App or use the App’s reset/clear-data function. Operating system or manufacturer backups may include app data depending on your settings; such backups are outside H5lab games’ control. Data processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google’s retention policies.

8. Recipients and transfers

• 8.1. For core diary and preference features: H5lab games does not receive your meal diary content or App preferences on its servers as described here, unless additional features are activated that are described separately.
• 8.2. Google (AdMob): Google acts as an independent controller or processor (depending on the service) for ad-related processing. Data may be processed on servers located globally; Google provides appropriate safeguards as described in its documentation and policies.
• 8.3. App store providers: Google, Apple or others may process data related to download, installation, updates and store analytics under their own policies; H5lab games does not control that processing.
• 8.4. International transfers: while H5lab games does not operate cloud services for the diary features as described, use of AdMob may involve international transfers by Google. If future features involve additional transfers outside the EEA by H5lab games, you will be informed, the appropriate safeguards will be identified and consent will be obtained where required.

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied consistent with the App’s design (local storage). You should protect device access (PIN, biometrics) and keep the OS updated. Loss, theft or unauthorised use of the device may compromise locally stored data.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

For data stored only locally, erasure or portability may be achieved through App functions (e.g. delete or export if available) or by uninstalling the App and removing data in system settings.

For requests that require action by H5lab games, use the channel indicated on the app listing in the distribution store, attaching any information H5lab games requests to verify your identity where necessary.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

11. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

12. Automated decision-making and profiling

The App’s own diary and goal features do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing for those features. Ad networks may use automated processes to select or measure ads according to their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

H5lab games may update this policy to reflect legal or App changes. Material updates will be communicated in the App (e.g. on update or by asking for acceptance again). Continued use after notice may constitute acceptance, without prejudice to your rights.
